Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

By accessing BatchLane UAE — including the public marketplace, buyer portal, supplier portal, commission agent portal, and logistics partner portal — you agree to these terms on behalf of your business entity.

Platform role

BatchLane provides listing, discovery, negotiation, order, and logistics coordination tools. We are a technology marketplace, not the seller of record unless explicitly stated on a specific transaction document.

Account responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business, GST, and contact information
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Comply with applicable Indian trade, tax, and export regulations
  • Do not list counterfeit, restricted, or prohibited goods

Transactions & payments

Prices, MOQs, and delivery timelines are agreed between buyers and suppliers. Payment, however, is not made directly to the supplier: buyer payment is collected by BatchLane and held in escrow until release conditions are met (such as delivery confirmation, an agreed milestone, or the end of a dispute-hold window), after which BatchLane processes payout to the supplier. BatchLane may adjust release timing to resolve a dispute raised by either party.

Disputes

Buyers and suppliers can raise a dispute on an order through the platform, with evidence submission and a structured review process. While a dispute is open, related escrow funds may be held pending resolution.

Partner programmes

Suppliers, commission agents, and logistics partners are subject to onboarding, approval, and ongoing compliance review. BatchLane may suspend accounts for policy violations, fraud risk, or repeated disputes.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatchLane is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from trades between users. Platform availability is provided on a commercially reasonable basis.
